We are a charitable organisation, registered with the Charities Commission, working for the benefit of the local community, providing a wide range of services for our guests.
Our Services
The Main Hall
The Main Hall, which has a capacity of up to 120 people. It can be adapted to accommodate a variety of uses, including private celebration parties, live entertainment events, and business use, (e.g. Dancing Classes and business meetings).
It also accommodates indoor sports events such as indoor mat bowling. The Strong Beans Coffee Shop is located in an area adjacent to the main hall.
The Main Bar
The Main Bar, which has a capacity of up to 60 people and provides comfortable surroundings in which our members can generally socialise or hold social events.
There is a dart board for use by members and local teams.
When large capacity events are taking place in the main hall, it is possible to remove part of the partition wall, thus converting it into an extension of the Main Hall.
The Compton Lounge
The Compton Lounge is a comfortable and quieter area, in which is located the pool table and a further dart board.
There is also a small kitchen accessed from the lounge in which food and drinks can be prepared for an event.
The lounge has a maximum capacity of 40 people.
Each of the above indoor areas has its own television, which can receive Sky Sports programs.
There are three separate toilet facilities around the complex and disabled facilities are available.
The overall capacity of the complex at any one time is a maximum of 180 people.
Outside Area
The outside has tables, chairs, a covered BBQ area, and a smoking shelter with seating. There is room to locate play equipment and past event holders have hired a small bouncy castle, which was set up in this area.
